seems good, 15 minute track sessions fro £25, no noise limit. road and track bike testing, and all the usual trade stnads/race teams etc.

£25 doesn't seem that great for a single session on track; to my mind at least half a day is needed to actually 'get into it'. Could be interesting riding other bikes, but I'd really want time out on my own bike first.

An interesting concept, though.

yea i s'pose. how many seesions on track do you normally get in a donington track day though? for £165... for the cost of a normal no noise limit track day there, you can go for 6 sessions and have £15 change...

6 or 7; 8 if you're lucky.

However I suspect a 'normal' trackday would be a bit easier to understand what's going on and you have less worry toward the end of the day as there won't be a load of people that have just gone out for their first session while you're starting to get to know the lines well.

I dunnar about everyone else, but if and when I do a trackday I'd rather not go to something where any fucker and his steed in apparently whatever condition can go to. Seems like it would attract people who would go out and do one run as fast as they can, bin it or screw someone else over. No thankee

Roll on being 18 to do a real trackday Crying or Very sad

I'm going, decided to get my tickets by subscribing to the mag, seems like a good offer and i always buy it anyway, just wondering does anyone know when i'll actually get the tickets and the other freebie?
my mag came today but no tickets or anything so i assume i'll get them not long before the event?
sounds like a great day, i'm saving up to get some gear there, doubt i'll have my bike by then but who knows. Thumbs Up

Am I missing the point here?

You have to pay to watch a load of noobs trundle around Donnington, look at the same bikes that are in the shops, possibly take a test ride, and walk around a load of trade stalls?

Confused

Go on then, whats the 'loads to see and do' bit? From what I've read there's a minimoto track (pay extra), the chance to see how much power your putting out on a dyno. (Unfortunately you also have to pay for the privilege of someone trying to blow your engine), a ball of death (free) , walk around the paddocks (free), and, er, thats it.

I've ignored the buy bit of your comment, I can't comprehend how the concept of parting with money for the privilege of spending money is worthwhile.

No problem with the idea of a day out, its the thought that I have to pay to get access to a place that requires me to pay again to go on the track or pay to see what other wish me to buy. Have fun.
