hi been offered a swap my cbr600 Kreg for a gsxr1100 L reg
the bike runs nice if a little scarey fast seems to do everything it should there is a slight crack in the top fairing near head light but other than that looks tidy
its all standard apart from the can which sounds lush

Look for a brown seat, because you'll need it! Smile

They have somewhat of a reputation for being fast in a straight line, but not exactly corner capable...

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

a GSXR1100 is like my ideal bike! i say go for it... whats better than a race bike engine with tappets instead of shims?

easy maintenance, and loads of low down torque.

the 1100 was MADE to be streetfightered. get to it

Guess again champ, the watercooled bikes have shims Very Happy

The L models were the last to have screw and locknut tappets, more's the pity.

fuck... why did they ruin it with shims?? if its watercooled, dont bother as shims are rubbish to work on.

oil cooled one Thumbs Up

ill be getting one eventually, cheers for letting me know that Very Happy

so keep the plastics, and swap it back when it comes to selling it.

not all streetfighters have to have a gay back end

Doubt it. Good late oil boilers are few and far between and I've seen them fetch over £3000 for an L model.
