Hi

Is anyone going?

Has anyone been before?

If so, can you recommend going on the Saturday or Sunday? I'm resting all my hopes on seeing the Avro Vulcan in action. Smile Thumbs Up But I doubt that will not be confirmed until a week or so before the event takes place.

Always gets absoloutely packed out from memory, but they usually have a big collection of various stuff going.

Normally small village schools in the surrounding area charge a small fee and let people sit and park in their fields as well as putting on a BBQ etc. All money goes to the school normally so worth it for that. I remember going once about 5 or 6 years ago and having a Harrier bow to the crowd as he went sideways! Very Happy

I live in biggin hill, can see most the planes from our garden. Have been up to the show a few times and it is pretty good, if you buy your tickets nowish from local places they are cheaper than on the day or nearer the time.
Parking can be a pain but shouldnt be too much of an issue if you go by bike.

It was 30 quid for 2 families back in 1995 when i went. Sunny day, a good day out, managed to see harriers, C130 deploying smokescrees, frecce triccoli, but unfortunately we had to go before red arrows flew. I've not been to another airshow since then Crying or Very sad

Yeh i still ride the NSR, although come the 16th of this month i will be riding a Hornet. I usually travel down towards warlingham and whyteleafe most of the time as i work there and also most my friends live in that area so dont ride too much in biggin hill.
How often are you out on your bike and what route, if i see you i'll be sure to give a nod or wave...
And i dont think they are £20 anymore. I think one year we paid £12 or something. Although was a while ago and i cant be 100%.
