Thanks for the heads up.

Was hoping to get there tonight.

Off-peak, so to speak, so hopefully no Police about.

What's the bet they're 'cracking down' on safe speeds that exceed posted limits and petty issues like number plates and exhausts on what looks to be one of the rare occasions where we can all go out for a blast in some nice weather. I'm so grateful they're looking out for me.

It's always the same, sunny MayDay runs mean the main routes down there (A21, A28 etc) are usually filled with the scamera vans and unmarked cars. 'Tis a day to take a gentle ride down and have a gander at the bikes and shithole that is Hastings, with a few breaks and rest stops thrown in to have a nice big fry-up and cuppa. Definately not worth hooning down IMO; let the grumpy fuckwit coppers get all moody with the sunny-Sunday boys...

Last year was fecking freezing and the lack of police was actually worth the cold. Very Happy

What is with Ryka's?

I was down there Friday night all geared up for a hot chocolate and they were shut. This was about 7.45.

I weeped and wailed the whole way home.

So, so wrong. Thumbs Down

Have they changed owners? Last time I was down (3 or 4 weeks ago) looked like a different set of people running the gaff.

Question

I've just got back from Ryka's and it was swarming with police officers on bikes pulling people as they went in / out. They were just checking plates i think. Luckily i put my standard plate on before my trip
Shocked

You can just see the police on the corners of the pictures. Idiots should have better things to do that fine bikes for small plates.
