Indicator relay GSXR 600 K4

Have to fit a new indicator relay unit on a K4 Gixxer 600(indicators flashing too fast since putting led lights on back).Can anyone tell me where the flasher relay is? I've looked under the seat but cant find anything,is it on the front end somewhere?Dont want to start taking the front fairing off if I'm looking in the wrong place.Will be sending for a Haynes manual shortly but could do with getting this sorted now.Any help/pics would be very greatly appreciated.

Have you tryed the "Workshop/Service manuals" thread in the workshop at the top of the page? See if you can get yourself a downloadable manual.

Isn't it attached to the rear subframe on the left under the rear panel? There's a couple of relays there, be careful not to confuse the indicators with the starter. Thumbs Up

You could wire up your original bulbs to slow down the rate or buy one of those resistor relays off ebay?

gixxer indicator relays are normally mounted at the front of the bike inside the main cockpit fairing, on my gixxer... slightly older its to the left inside infront of the brake lever, normally a small square box, if you turn the ignition on and turn indicator on u normalluy can hear them click....

i dont believe its as easy as changing just the relay on the gsxr's - hence they dont do a plug and play aftermarket suzuki one for leds. the cheapest and most reversable way round it is the resistors on each indicator.
