Late model DT125's have a 210 main jet, and if you de-restrict it you need a 240-260main jet or it'll seize pronto. Your open filter will afect jetting, but not at all throttle openings, so it willbe a case of playing with the main jet, and needle jet/clip position, so that it runs right all the way through, or you will just have flat spots, even if you get the main right. I would say try the 260MJ and do a plug chop, and get it right at full throttle. Then you can try to sort out any midrange problems with the needle position and air screw, and failing that you might need different size pilot jet, needle jet etc. |
