Carb synchronisers

I going to buy a new carb balancer so I'm after reviews of any you might have used.

Looking at spending less than £70 so current running is either a morgan carbtune or a twinmax. Anyone use/recommend either or maybe there's another that I haven't found?

ive never used a digital balancer before so can't really comment, i think i would be a wee bit sceptical as to how accurate it would be, or wether it would require regular zeroing, who knows.
ive used the morgan before along with a couple of different dial type balances, and out of them the morgan would win every time,

but between the morgan and a digital type, i couldnt call it, so im not really any help at all really

Go for the Morgan Carbtune. Ignoring the scales, it is so simple to see the state of balance, as the little indicator rods line up close together. Only (possible) issue is that the gauges must be hung (near) vertical to work correctly. I have had no problem hanging them off the handlebars.

You have to assemble the vacuum lines of the Carbtune, when you get it, which was surprising for a commercial product. Still, it is so simple that it is a safer bet than the more complex dial gauges.

it might well be worth giving the digital ones ago,
i started out with a analogue multimeter when i first started as an apprentice, but you wouldnt catch me now with out my little digital clip on multi meter, its a lot harder wearing and always remains accurate even after its dropped

mine was an avo as well, but i acquired it from the electrician who i was an apprentice to, and i think he had it for 20 odd years
