Gutted, looks like a good 'un.
You'll be able to get that one plugged though so it'll only cost you a little bit. ____________________ My Flickr |

You could probably get it plugged for about £35 as long as the hole isn't too big when that MAMMOTH BOLT is taken out! ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm. Previous: Firestorm (written off) - XJ600 Divvy - NSR125 - DT125 and a load of offroaders. |

Yes, it fucked my hugger too
Made my almost min bike not quit so anymore...
Will ask about getting it plugged. The other option is a D208 to replace my D207. (Apparently they dont make 207s any more) ____________________

Those Qualifiers might be grippy but they don't last long at all. The best selling tyre for us this year so far has been the Michelin Pilots. The 2CT if you want a more sporty tyre and the Road 2 if you want long lasting slightly less sportyness. Everyone who has used them has been very happy. The Pilot Road 2's have been lasting up to 7000 miles on 1000cc sportsbikes. They work in the wet too.

Tyre repairs are a pain in the ass and a lot of work. Our labour rate is £35 per hour and it takes an hour to repair the tyre if fitted to the bike. Obviously if the wheel is loose then the job is quicker and will hence be cheaper. ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm. Motherf.cker
Ended up with a Qualifyer on the rear instead of a D208. £135 in total, i got raped. (That's rear tyre ONLY).
Was the only place i could get the bike too
AA Man came a plugged the tyre, but the tyre was still pissing air like you wouldn't believe! He put it upto about 50psi, and then i followed him to the tyre place to get it sorted. Got there with it a bit squishy, but was "ok".
The rear is alot softer than the front me thinks, it gets *alot* hotter *ALOT* faster!
The front tyre is almost new as well tbh... Nvm, when this rear is shagged, i'll swap them both for BT021's... ____________________

That is unbelievable.
What's got me is how did it puncture your tyre? Wouldn't you have thought that the bike would have just rolled over something that big. |

I got a puncture the other day, annoying as hell, i have kept the thing that caused it too
I bought a paddock stand and took the rear wheel off, ordered the tyre off e-bay and then honda fitted it for a tenner. bargin.
Plus i know have a paddock stand which makes chain adjustment and spraying easier, damned bikes with no centre stands.
Least you are sorted
May be skint this month, but you wont even remember the cost next month ____________________ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I agree that D207's are shocking Titz, they dont have any feel, and aren't exactly that grippy!

Crikey, that's bigger than my knob!!
(Only kidding laydeez)
207's are indeed poor, 208's ain't too bad but don't last long at all.
Go for Pilot Road 2's, I've done 1300 miles on mine since new in the past 3 weeks, and they don't even look worn yet!!!
And "less sporty" my bumcheeks, I gave it serious beans whilst pitched and it just dug.. ____________________ Suzuki GSX-R750K4 ~ Mivv GP |
