Test riding the new Ducati 848 Very Happy

Conclusions, its a pretty awsome bike, they have come along way since the 749.
The engine has kept its revvyness but with a top end punch like my RSV i believe it puts out simular bhp but less torque.
Being a demo bike, i had it bounce off the limter a fair few times to test its power Smile.
When i finally got it to some twisty roads that is where is shined, like most sports dukes it sucks it traffic and yerns for the open road.
Think revvy 600 with torque, and yes i did get my kneedown on it Smile.
If only i could afford it.

How come you were test riding it? That is one lush bike, I wish I won that one at the London Motorcycle Show... Sad

Agreed, also that has been said since i joined the forum when i was 16 Smile.

I wanted to test the 1098, thats the bike im really intrested in, the 848 i found has lost a part of Ducati character being that the dry clutch is a wet clutch on the 848.
But as im under 25 insurance just wouldnt cover, but i will try somewhere else.
