Hi all,

I've just finished my webpage. Have a look and see what you think. I didn't have a clue what HTML was till a few weeks ago so excuse me if it's a bit, well, crap! One thing I haven't worked out how to do is make all the pictures stay in the same place, when you change the size of the window. I'm guessing it's got something to do with tables.

It's probably not very interesting to most of you. Just a place for me to put lots of photos. It also has some basic science things to explain to my family etc what I do. There are a few bike pics in there.

A big thank you to Bendy for all the help she's given me in setting it up! Very Happy Thumbs Up

One thing is - I don't think it is too dial-up freindly, but I would be interested to know how it loads.

Feel free to comment.

-Grooves

Cool

Looking good mate.

I like the rollovers on the thumbnails. Smile

You shouldn't have let Bendy influence your choice of background colour though. Rolling Eyes Wink

I was bored so I've added links to your's and Stew's sites to my links page. I think you should maybe tone down the yellow just a bit, looks a little too bright tbh.

Looks fine on 8x6 though. Thumbs Up Smile

Cheers for linking to me Dusty. I'll set up a links page when I get more time.

My favourite page is the rollover links page too. Shame it takes bloody ages to load on a dial-up but tough luck eh?

Change the yellow!? Never! Yellow rulez! Wink

The examples of the GFP I put in there are more or less just novelties.

It's usually used in individual cells so you can see where an interesting protein localises, then you can watch it move within the cell as it grows and divides. Glad you had a look though! Smile Thumbs Up

Cheers Stew, yours has changed a lot since I last looked at it too. I like the top graphic. Thumbs Up

I've had to shut down the video and gallery pages on my site because they are using too much bandwidth. Confused

We haven't got anything planned yet, although we usually manage to get a few trips in to Dorset and the Peak District, and some strange place in Wales too. My group has had a trip to El Chorro in Spain recently too, but I didn't make it to that one. I usually go indoors at least once a week.

You climb too?

Outdoors in Wales? Is that out on the Gower or do you head to North Wales?
There's surprisingly little climbing to be had in the Breacons, though there are some nice-ish boulder spots.

We like the Peaks, 'tis a great place. Though next port of call will have to be Dartmoor I believe.

Ste - we'd use your gear if you could lend us some to test Wink

Yeah it's the Gower. I'll get some photos up of it once I find them. Nice place. I'd like to say the locals are friendly, but I could only say they were once they realise you're not English. Laughing

Nice climbing to be had though. Smile

Not bad eh Thumbs Up Smile

Just need to reorganise it a little as it looks a bit squashed, tables would probably be the easiest way.

Had to wear sunglasses though to look at it for long periods of time Wink
