Going to work and leaving the builders to put you a base in ready for a steel shed.

sods law is then coming home and finding they've put it the wrong way round... the door goes on the widest part which means i'll struggle like fuck to get it in now as the door faces my fence.

you could always extend it yourself, shouldnt be too hard to make it big enough for your shed.
Plus with the extra size pad you have now, at least you have hard ground outside the shed to put you bike while you work on it in the summer

the doors comes already on the steel shed. i'll have to look for another shed where it's on the smallest side.

Opposite side would face the garden. Wink

I built an angle iron frame in the end of my steel shed so I could have access from two different points.

TBH I'd be telling them to come and sort it if that's what you've asked them to do. That's what they're paid for.
