I've got a zx6r and have managed to fit it with the original ram mount. Tis not perfect but its the only place it would go.
There certainly wasn't any room on the dash or under the screen.
I considered using the top most screen bolt but it required the bolt to be done up waaay too tight for my liking in fear of cracking the screen.
I just ducked out and took a few pics that may help.
Not the best shot cause its dark out. ____________________ meh |

so have you had to drill a hole through the yoke to fit it there?..i can`t work out how else you`d manage it tbh and the pics are hard to fathom..
I`ve just ordered the fuel cap mount off ebay so i reckon that`s where mine`s gonna go.It`s got quite a long arm on so by the time everything`s bolted onto it it should be pretty good and close to where yours is (but i`ll have mine higher up and on the pivot bearing thingy so i wont have to look down as far ) |

I knew you`d ask that.....
The mount fits round the front of the rim into the bolt holes....so it doesn`t obstruct the filler cap from opening.
It can hold a digi video camera too so when i`m not using the satnav i can hook one up and if anyone knocks me off by running a junction or some shit....i`ll have it all on film incase they try to deny blame..
Or i can just use it for high speed police chase footage...lol
(joking...i wouldn`t bother doing any of that ^^^but the option`s there) |
