Went off on the bike, the missus and I, for a week or so touring, Lands End etc. but that's for another post. Got back.... our house looked ship shape, little grubby around the edges... funny smell ((we've no end of problems with the drains, put it down to that)) smell worse next day, so using our spare key opened the door to their room... this what we found the horror that greeted us themorning, when we opened the door to their room

I threw them out, no arguments, no returned deposit, I kept most of their rent advance too

utter scum, I very nearly swung for him,

yes that is dog shit in the photo..

We have a DOG PROOF GARDEN!! We love dogs. This is so wrong. Appropriate animal welfare, RSPCA, Dog Ward and similar people were informed...

scum,. scum,. scum,.

Yes, we knew they had one. We did not expect to find the poor fucker in a cage!!! Nor dog shit all over their room!

We'd just got back from a 1,000+mile bike holiday, and walked into it. Gits.

In the wardrobe,
Like the lion the witch type where it can dissapear and shit in there no problems.

They look bit skettish, didnt even let the dog shit out of the window.

Id just go start by buying a few cans of OUST, and rent a rugdoctor from a place like B&Q or Focus, and get that doggy shit out of the carpet before it goes mouldy rofl! Laughing

Well, like I say we have a dog proof garden, and I mean dog proof. We'd found these lodgers on EasyRoomate.

Checked the profile, talked via e-mail, met, interviewed, came round again for a cuppa, talked some more... seemed alright.

At the last minute, she moved in "emergency" boyfriend thrown out with dog, can they stay? Puppy had been chewing.

Double rent, and some sensible doggy ground rules, sure.

That means, we have the right, at any time, to check on your dog, whenever you are not about, to walk, play, train, or otherwise your dog. Your dog will be trained. You will neuter your dog.

Like I say, I think dogs are great. This dog was a pain in the arse, showing me what dog proof meant, did not mind. Scum I do mind. They tricked me into thinking they were real people, they are scum.

My dog, who I have had since a pup is asleep at my feet, he was a naughty bugger as a pup, at times, but, mostly my fault for not being quick enough on the upstart with training.

We really had no idea this was going on, we'd been away for 8 days. Scum. Utter scum.

So you were away for 8 days and they had access to take it out and that?

Thats much worse, not like they were hiding it or anything either.

And what exactly would that achieve do you think?

They were keeping the dog in exactly the same living conditions as they were keeping themselves. Prosecuting them would acheive exactly fuck all. I've done house visits to places where you had to wipe your feet before getting back in the car. Shoudl you feel sorry for the animals or the people?

Besides which. Pictures don't look all that bad to me, unless I'm missing something? Sure, they could do with a pick up about the place but there isn't exactly a lot of room to store stuff.

If your problem is the dog in a cage, you need to get out more. Cage training is a perfectly legitimate and acceptable way of keeping a dog while you're out. If you don't like it, you'd better report me to the RSPCA too (and I can tell them to fuck off and take their excessively anthropomorphising attitude with them. Again.).

I thought the big issue was
theyve kept a dog in a cage for what looks like 8 days id guess, but more like theyve let the dog shit in a room that isnt theres, in what seems to be lazyness, and im not sure if that shit stains in the carpet or what, because that would suggest free roaming in the room but still shitting and not taking it out just letting it fester is a tad rank dont you agree?

There is not eight days worth of dog shit there. Believe me on this one.

Picture this: You wake up in the morning to find the puppy has shit on the floor (puppies are good at this). You have to leave for work in 15 minutes. Pup in its cage, quick run round to pick the worst up and bung it on a sheet of cardboard, I'll sort it out when I get home. Get home to find the landlord is swinging off the chandaliers and throws you out. Great.
