So i sold my bike

After putting a CBR6 engine in the Hornet, i blew it up, so i've sold the Hornet as a non runner for £500 to a mate, it got put in the back of a corsa and was taken away the other night.

Now, i'd like another Hornet because i know im pretty handy on one, and they're cheap, but id kinda like a change, so any suggestions? i've been looking at cbr 6's, not interested in any other naked 600 as the Hornets probably the best of its class. Ta.

If you arnt bothered about fairings, what about a Bandit 1200 ?
K series GSXR750s are supposed to be pretty good for stunting and fairly cheap.

ive ridden the new 1050 Speed triple a couple of times, i have to say i quite like it, they like to wheelie .

Been thinking about Speed Triples, they look the nuts imo, i've got a mate who has a street triple and they're fucking georgeous, outta my price league though.

I'm not too keen on Bandit 12's, i've ridden one and yah they have low down grunt but they feel a bit, well, shit round corners.

I've not thought about Gixxer 750s up untill now, seems quite a good idea actually, because they'll obviously handle well and i know they get stunted, same with the 636, and i couldn't give a toss about fairings, I'd flip the clipons upside down and have 'em at 0 degree, i'll sell the fairings , lol.

AD, the engine swap was piss, it was a straight swap, but i prefered the Hornet engine! Because most of the power was lower down, the CBR was more revvy, if i where to do it again i'd deffo run CBR carbs.

Anyway cheers for the ideas, it's made me a think a bit now, i need something that will take some abuse round corners but will be a half decent stunter too, i'll start looking.

GSXRs750s have torque and are revvy, best of both.

Make sure you get a k series though 2000-2003 i think, after that they change shape and get more expensive.

Stunters choice, crash cage it.

A mate of mine has ridden my Speed Four a couple of times, and he reckons its an awesome wheelie bike. It does stoppies quite well too....
