Anyone got movie posters?

I'm thinking of getting a few of my favorite movies in the style of a movie poster with a new black frame to put around the living room. Has anyone done this, can i see some pics?

Off the top of my head it'd be Mad Max, Alien, Warriors & Back To The Future. Is this cheesy? I wouldn't have them all, maybe just 2.

When me and a few of my mates were kids, we used to go to the local video shop and ask them for the posters, our walls were plastered in them, I even used to do the celing aswell... Thumbs Up

I've got a Vertigo one in the lounge, chosen more for the style / colour than the movie particularly. I think a lot of the older posters look much cooler than modern ones.

Had an MI:2 one years ago cos it had the Speed Triple with a big explosion behind it. Embarassed

I don't doubt that for original one-sheet posters for some 60s-70s-80s films you can get a lot of money....

I have a pretty big poster of Al Pacino in Scarface, must be 6 by 4 feet. Its a close up of him sitting in his office chair with cocaine on his suit jacket. I wonder if its worth anything...

Theres also a pretty big one of Sean Connery and the burd from Dr No. Not sure if the scene is in the film or it's an outtake... Its a bit smaller, maybe 3 by 2 feet...

Might stick them on eBay and see what happens. If I had my own place, the Scarface one would be pretty cool on a wall.

I have one of the massive front of house ones for 'Die Hard'. Cost quite a bit to frame but worth every penny Very Happy

I think if overdone the A2 type size can look a bit student bedsit.

A friend of mine collected the postcard versions and put up a framed collection which looked rather good.

Cheers people, i'm going to overdue it with loads, just Mad Max & Clockwork Orange, frams looks pretty cheap if you get the glossy plastic ones.

The really old films look brilliant framed, a guy i know had a Bonnie & Clyde one.

i used to work in a cinema so iv got a few,

got a big 8foot by 5foot 300 vinyl banner, one of these went for £200 on ebay a few months ago. so might sell mine as its still rolled up as not got space for it.

got the big "simpsons movie" board from above the couch they put in cinemas (has a big donut on it)

Got a "deja vu" standard size poster,
"war" standard size poster
and a "Die hard 4.0" standard size poster.

so might sell them as i need cash.

I've got a few classics in my online art galleries that I have picked frames for, but not got round to buying yet.

I definitely want the Hepburn Breakfast at Tiffanys one, I found one which is all Warhol Marilyn'd up (if you know what I mean) ... and it looks well cool.

Used to have this one from the local "Picture House" after begging the manager to let me have it, I watched the film that many times.
