Hi all,
forgive the dumbness of the question (I already suspect I know the answer but just wanted to check)
I went for my first ride in the pitch dark last night.
Dip beam was the same brightness as 'sidelight' - is this normal?
I doubt it is so I guess I'm looking at a new bulb - is this right?

cheers
John

p.s. my bike is a 125cc Honda CityFly

Hi

Sounds like it needs a new bulb. Usually the side light is a 5W bulb (will will provide next to no light for you to see by, just a slight glow so others can see you). Dipped beam will likely be a 55W filament.

All the best

Keith

+1 what Kickstart said. Sidelights are so others can see you. Dipped beam is there to allow you to see others. So dipped beam should be much brighter.
