Toilet Issues.

Does anybody have the slightest idea about why i have to go to the toilet every 15-20 minutes

It is really quite annoying. Any advice/help is welcome.

Could be plenty of things, consult your doctor , infact probably consult a urologist since I hate GP's .

Amatuer doctor hour...

Anyway could be:

Drinking far too many diuretics , BUT your body has a defence mechanism against this to prevent excess loss of water which is why people who drink tons of tea/coffee/beer don't tend to die.

Having a v small bladder,

UTI - urinary tract infection not necessarily an STI,

At worst it could be diabetes

and or a prostate problem.


But if its cold , you are not doing much hard activity and you drink plenty of water its pretty normal, since you lose no moisture via sweating and extra respiration. Ala the Jackie Chan youth work out with Sammo Hung where they had to work out so much they had no water left to pee.

Depends what you drink, so if you've started drinking something different recently then that may be it.

I tend to notice what causes me to piss more because as I spend my whole day driving it's a great invonveniance to stop for a piss while you're enroute.

Tea and coffee definately have an adverse affect but it's not significant, the worst thing I find is lucozade, drink that and i'm dying for the loo within half an hour.

I think your body or at least your mind plans ahead too, so if you know you're gonna be unable to go for some time you'll keep yourself empty so to speak. And nerves/stress make you need the loo too.

Water Orange juice Pure Orange. Occasionally a cup of tea but not very often.

I used to go to the loo a lot on planes. Probably because the air con dried the air out and was constantly drinking water.

is it painful to pee? If so i could be cystitis, or as others have probably said a water infection

Cystitis: drink lots of cranberry juice, and stop having to much sex

Water infection: drink lots and lots of water..

If you really are going to the toilet every 15 minutes then yes go to the Doctor.

You drink a lot of Orange Juice, the stuff is very acidic and has left my kidneys in quite a bad way so I try to only drink one glass a day now.

I have the same problem recently. I feel myself silly going to toilet so many times. Maybe I drink too much coffee not to fall asleep.

I think caffeine makes you Piss a lot. Coke has the same effect. I have my problem sorted now. Doctor said it was a Water Infection.
