There are many types of brake pads like sinterd, resin, semi-metal, carbon... Which type do you use now? and why? I want to hear your voices about brake pads.
For me, I use GPZ1100 genuine pads on my W650(same shape Shocked , and bites better), and I'm pleased with its initial bites. I found this information on W650 site in germany. (I don't know what type the GPZ pad is though).

I use EBC HH Sintered pads, because I like the power and feedback they offer.

I'm not sure what's in mine at the moment, when I change them I'll probably put Brembo or Ferodo race pads in. They both bite well and don't fade on track, they deal with the heat better.

On my road bike's have had HH pads and OE pads as replacements, both have been awesome for the road.

I use genuine standard pads every time... unless you're a fast track racer I don't think the difference is all that much.

I will only ever use standard rear pads for stunt riding as they offer the best feel and last quite well.

Got some HH's in at the moment, not really noticed much difference on the front brakes but the rear has improved a huge amount over the stock pads.

Carbone Loraine SBK3/5 when I can and want decent braking.

Reasonable price, reasonable wear rate and good performance - noticeably better than EBC-HH to my mind without the ridiculous price of Performance Friction, which I think are over-rated.

Interesting, I might give them a go next time around.
