Just wondering if there are any companies out there that do Bore Kits for a Derbi Senda 1254t ?

I'm wondering because :-

1) I fancy some more Ooomph.
2) The cc limit is 150cc (4t) and 50cc 2t, so because of this - some engine work would be nice.
3) A 125(2t), although the obvious route, would never be approved/legal here.

Now from researching the bike - it seems it came with 2 engine derivatives - the Honda CG125 lump, or the Yamaha XTZ125 lump, which I *think* is the same as fitted to the YBR125 ?.

I have the Yamaha derivative on it, but I was wondering if the XTZ engine is the same as the TTR/YBR Engine as I know there are loads of kits for the TTR, but I've found diddly for the XTZ..

Any info would be *really* appreciated !

Cheers

the senda engine is quicker than a ybr or cg engine. I wouldn't spend out lots of money on a 125, bit of a waste for little gain

Ordinarily I agree if I were in the UK - I wouldn't even have this bike.

BUT, I'm stuck with working with bikes that originally meet the 150cc 4T limit here, but that's not to say that they can't be improved..

The most "unnoticeable" way to do that is a bore kit to 150/170cc. This would give a little more oopmh, but still allow me to pass the annual inspection (Equiv to MOT in the UK, just not as strict)

Why not look at the CBR150?
Think there's a few other 4 stroke 150cc bikes made for appropriate markets - definitely a few 2 strokes.
