Just had swinton on for renewal of my bike insurance, they quoted £325 for my 03 R1 I said I will make a decision by 2,30 today, and that im going on line to get some quotes.... she said she will call me back shortly with a better quote if possible, two minutes later she just saved me £26 Rolling Eyes so been online and found devitt amongs others will insure me for £195 with £600 excess, swintons is £500,

so is anyone insured with devitt? and would they recommend them, or can anyone link me to an insurance company they would recommend.

I have full no claims bonus and I'm an old cunt Embarassed

I'm only 19, the guy I bought my bike from recently recommended Footman James..

I tried to get a quote from them, but they don't insure young riders..

I don't know what they're like, but he said they'd always been the cheapest for him to insure with..

Just insured my Hornet TPFT cost me £67 with direct line, not sure if fully comp is worth it but have had TPFT since new. Its probably so low because I am a right old git, still there are benefits for being old (but not many).

Try go compare.com, I found my current insurer through them and saved a few hundred.

Ive just been on now and Im still in shock, im 26 2yrs no claims and an accident 50/50 3 years ago. No points, good area and locked garage. Quoted for a blackbird, heyabusa, fireblade and an SV thou all came out less than 6 hundred quid. Think its time to sell the 636!!!

Well got swinton down to £268... which is with breakdown recovery, and an excess of £350 Cool the morale of the story is it pays to to barter with them,

Third party fire and thieft. Mine is cheaper than anyone else I know. Even people who are older than me with more years behind them. I dont know why Shocked My oh paid £170 for his aprillia and I rang to get me on the insurance and it was £70 for the year. He wasnt happy at all. Different company to. About time I got a break somehwere with paying for stuff.
