 |
|
I have a Datatool Veto Evo, and the batteries it takes are TINY!
I think they are GP27A, or Duracell MN27, a lot of places sell GP23A but they're far too big, I think 27A was created especially for alarm fobs, can't find them anywhere
Anyone got an idea of what shops would sell it? I've tried B&Q, Halfords, I think Motorworld have some but they're about £5 each from there and they're the GP27A which last 5 minutes (Want the Duracell MN27 if possible)
Cheers,

I need to get one this lunchtime really, those GP ones are crap as well, last about 3 weeks
Worst case is that I'm going to have to buy one from the motorworld and order the rest online, gah.

Hi
Possibly the reason your batteries are lasting no time at all is due to water in the fob.
We have a Datatool system on the Triumph. On this later system buying new batteries from Datatool gets you a replacement cover as well, presume to keep it water proof.
I have replaced just the batteries and then you are lucky if they last a couple of weeks, whatever make of batteries you use.
All the best
