Looking sporty, sub 20k miles. Looking new as possible. Have been thinking about a member heres B1h ZX636r which I might just buy. But was also looking at thousands, any gems of wisdom to help me decide what to do?

If it were me I'd be looking at K1 GSXR 600s, 2001> Yamaha R6s or possibly a zx6r like you said.

Aprilia RSV Mille. Thumbs Up

That'll get you a good version of the second version of the mille. Not the one with the ram air in the middle, but the version before that. The 01-03 bike, with the air deflectors on the front.

Triumph Speed Four, you get the suspention and brakes of a sports bike the only difference is a dentuned motor, (98bhp) but this gives you a more usable bike in the real world, you should be able to pick up an 06 plate for between 2/3k

Personally I'd lean towards either an absolutely mint ZX636 A1, a late ZX9 E/F or a TL1000r if I could find a clean and tidy one.

Plenty of good options though, that sort of money would get you a decent Daytona 955i, RSV Millie or 929 blade too.

GL with the buy, I'm hoping to be able to collect my Futura this week Smile

Suzuki TL1000R, beasts of a bike, many come with ohlins shocks.
I sold mine on here for £2500 with ohlins front and rear and a full yoshimura system.
Great value for money.

I'd get a TL/SP1 or any V-twin. Mille would be cool too. If you still fancy a six, then nout wrong with a ZX636 with the strong midrange.

LOL touch a nerve ?

Or you could be a wannabe ghetto superstar who rides a R1 or GSXR1000 and thinks they are Valentino Rossi, ghetto kids only ever seem to know one bike.
Dats da R1 man propper bo 200mph back wheel past pigs bruv.

Id rather steer clear of that scence.

If you can ride a bike properly you will probably find youll have more fun on the road on something like a GSXR750.

lol!

Im no ghetto kid, but you are right though ghetto youths and chavs all know the R1 but have no idea what a GSXR or Aprilla are.

I love my R1 and i think the Aprilla probably handles better i know the GSXR1000 does!

By character i didnt mean Italian bikes.

Just not your bum basic IL4 1000

I consider bikes like the SP1/2 TL1000R to be exotic Jap bikes (if there is such a thing).

The GSXR1000 is also a well used ghetto bike.

My GSXR750 K2 was great value, cheap to insure and has a great engine and handling, keeps its revvy nature with a nice top end.

929 Blade, you'll get a good 15k example for under £3k, no problems at all. Loads of bike for the money.

Cheers
