One of the finest quality, and one of the most common.

Most commonly on GSXR's, Yoshimura are to GSXR's what beans are to toast.

What do you want to know?

I'm no expert, I haven't watched the video but I can be pretty much 100% confident in saying, it probably won't sound like that.

Yoshimura are top quality. However, I thought that they only did four stroke exhausts. If you put a four stroke exhaust on your NSR you'll ruin it and it will run very slowly.

This. Putting a new exhaust on a 2 stroke bike is NOT the same as for a 4 stroke; you must ensure that you obtain a 2 stroke specific pipe as the engine requires a certain amount of back pressure to ensure that the fuel/air mix doesn't follow the exhaust gases straight through the cylinder!

Why do you hate your exhaust?

Keep your system stock. It's the design of the expansion chamber on 2 stroke exhausts that determine the backpressure and rate of scavenging. If you wanted to, arrow make good stroker pipes (or often referred to as spannies) and DON'T go for those twin pipe designs. Firstly i never knew yoshi's to be doing 2 stroke pipes, although somebody will verify this for me. I'd go for arrow if you want some bling for your NSR125 but then you'd have to mess about with jetting. If you wanted to shove your yoshi on ur bike, just make sure that the stock endcan is 50ish mm. You'd be able to slip the yoshi can on top of that and fill in the gaps with exhaust putty, but it'll look like having a needle dick threading the japs eye of a well hung black cock in terms of profile. At least you can try to make big brum brumm noises whilst everybody points and laughs.

End story - 2 stroke & 4 stroke systems are different kettles of fish - 2 strokes and 4 stroke engines are like chalk and cheese. If you didn't know the difference now, you might be end up topping your CBR6/R6 or Gixxer 6 with fully synth 2 stroke oil in a years time! Thumbs Up

be warned here and now it is not a yoshimura exhaust, it is a low quality carbon end can, which is supplied with a copy of a yoshi sticker, you will have a lot of ball ache trying to get it to fit, a lot of ball ache trying to make it run on the bike and is just basically shit!, look at the price and the location two of the biggest giveaways!

im presuming its this one

if you want a new exhaust for your nsr arrow is considered one of the best by many but pricey Clicky

From that ebay listing:

"Normally, your bike will get 2 to 3 BHP improvement, after installed this after market exhaust.

As you can see I have fitted a Yoshimura TRS badge which has given it total street credit to anyone who looks at it.

THIS PIPE WILL MAKE YOUR BIKE RIPPPPPPPPP !!!!!!!!"

Atleast mines a full size can tho, i think the noise form my lil 125 shocks most who hear it, the advantages of a v-twin 125.

Mate, I think your missing the point, That exhaust isnt a yoshi.
You can't just put a 4 stroke exhaust on a 2 stroke bike anyway, it just doesn't work.
Even if you put a yoshi on your bike its still a 2 stroke single, it will not sound ANYTHING like a gsxr with a yoshi.
Your better off keeping the one you have, getting on custom made, or buying something like an arrow one.

It's not the sound he doesn't like it's the looks. If you don't like the look of the exhaust sell the bike and buy a 4 stroke.

As Titz said you can put a 4 stroke exhaust over the top of your 2 stroke one but it will look stupid.

I personally like 2 stroke end cans because they are smaller.

Did you not read the page at all?

No it is not! That is not a yoshimura Exhaust!!
The UK Distributor is Phenix distribution ring them and ask if they sell one for an NSR, they will laugth at you!

yoshimura are one of the biggest and best renowned exhaust manufactor in the world so:

A) Why would they be selling "direct from factory" via ebay when they have a uk importer?

B) Why would they even be selling direct through ebay?

C) Why would the listing look like it was written by a 4 year old?

D) Why would they offer 2 badges?

E) Why when its a performance exhaust would they only offer the end can?

and there are lots more that i really cant be arsed to explain!

Seriously if you are convinced it is please ring Phoenix distribution!
