Strange thing happened tonight.

Sat at traffic lights (in car) with the lights on red. The lights change to amber so I start to set off, 99% sure I hadn't crossed the line before they were on green. Anyway about a third of the way across the crossroads and the traffic light camera flashed twice. My answer is therefore WHY? and can I expect a ticket?

Cheers

I'm not a traffic copper, but I'm 99.99% sure that red light cameras won't go off on amber when they are changing to green.

Hi Jimmy,

My divvy mum went through i traffic light camera and it recorded the time the light was red and the time of it amber. You get a photo to. If you do get it through it will have your front wheel over the line with a record of the light being amber after being red. so i reckon you'll be ok.

99.9 percent sure......
