I bought 2 tickets, £25 each, the number of mr bennett is useless as the mailbox is full, I wrote a letter.... no reply but theres hope yet! I understand mr bennett is a wanted man right now but has anyone heard anything about refunding us yet???
Ive been to the builth show a few times and we saw nothing but happy faces, some drunk some sober and I have thoroughly enjoyed each year with my children.... this is so sad.
Dyfed Powys police stopped or restricted all parties / house gatherings / music at bbq's and put a dampener on carnivals and outdoor events a while ago..... didnt think they wud go as far as cancelling this event too, it is so silly.
So its official no one is allowed to have fun in powys if it involves a crowd of people....... I wish this was an exaggeration but its seemingly true.
Anyone who has purchased a ticket for the welsh national bike show please get in touch, has anyone heard anything about refunding us yet??? I just feel like a mushroom and have no idea of whats going on.... thanks

You will be very lucky to get a refund. The organisers (W.M.S.) are in a very nasty financial situation. I doubt any of us will be getting our money back. Don't hold it against W.M.S. though, it's not their fault.

My OH had a ticket for this, he got his ticket through a friend ( a few of them were going, so one of them ordered the tickets then handed them out when they came) his ticket has been returned to the same friend, who is trying to sort out the refunds, but so far we've had no news. Obviously we're not happy about throwing 25 quid down the drain, but I'm not holding my breath til we get it back Evil or Very Mad

*sound of pennies dropping*

Your OH is Yorkie1200 off ukcruiserbike? Doh, should've realised when he posted up the pic of your bike at Chatsworth and told me where you'd got it from.......... Doh!

Re the Welsh, please be patient re your refunds.

Dunno yet what will happen, legal action against the police is being investigated, and there may also be a possibility of WMS Ltd being able to claim back some of the losses on their insurance.

Yep, sound advice. Thumbs Up

Same also applies if you payed by visa debit card, pretty sure on that.
And 100% certain if you paid by Maestro you are stuffed. Shocked

Best advise is if you are buying ANYTHING online pay via credit card.
