CG stupidity planned

After getting bored of my CG but still liking the thing seen as it does pretty much everything I ask of it, its just lacking grunt.

Can anyone make any sensible recommendations on a bigger engine? (on ease of fitting, not power )

A cb250rs engine is a bit too big for the frame, so the only thing I can think of is a xl185, but they are as rare as rocking horse manure.

Staying away from 2 strokes because of exhaust issues.


BTW, yes I know its a stupid idea, and insurance will cripple me, and MOTs will be a pain, but this is more a 'can it be done' thing, not a 'is this a good plan' idea.
