Surprised
No I can't.
The 1st owner said it had not been in the rain & I have been out in the rain. It has not even rained whilst I've been out on it.
However you've only got mine & the previous owners word for it as
I can't think how I could prove it. Smile

On behalf of everyone on IRC who's too much of a wimp to post:

Just a bit of harmless advice, you're asking a bit too much for that - you could pick one up for £3,995 a year ago from a dealer.

Don't shoot me - it's only advice and could help you get a sale.

Carvell's right, as a comparison my Dad recently paid a similar amount for an 03' cbr600f with 500 miles.

You might get 2.5K - 3K, but not 4.3k for it...... have a re-think on the price.

Thanks for the advice.
With the lack of bike sales at the mo, it was difficult to work out
how much it was worth.
As some people were advertising for around £4500, I thought I would give it ago. Embarassed Sad

What year is it?

Have a look on www.biketrader.co.uk for other ads so you can get a feel for the price.

Just because there are bikes on biketrader advertised at a price doesn't mean people are buying them. Idea

No, but it does give an indication of the current value.

Its better than taking a wild guess at a price.

It's a 2000 bike (the only year they did that paint scheme) and they go for about £3500 these days. You should get a bit more, as it is a low miler and has an alarm, but I wouldn't really expect anyone to go over four grand for it.

Weather's still a little bit too shitty to be getting great prices as a seller, you want the sun to come out. Thumbs Up

Oh, and this may sound like a really stupid piece of advice, but take another photo, or tweak the levels in photoshop so it looks like a stronger yellow. I saw photos where it looks a bit washed out and lemon-y and thought the scheme was vile. Then I saw one in the flesh and bought it. Wink

Thanks again for the good advice people.
I guess I will wait a month or so & try again when the sun comes out.
I'll try from £3500 + (ish). I'll be quite happy with this.
Would you believe I'm swapping it for my wedding Crying or Very sad

But I'm going to be back on the road a.s.a.p with something else
(maybe next year?????)

Just as a guide,
I've just brought a 2000 (W) with 5400 miles a few weeks ago for 3300 although I thought it was a very good price (had a 600 quid twin exhaust job done on it)and you should be able to fetch 3500 easily once the weathers a bit better and interest would go up.

offer her the kitchen or the wedding.
easy....

hehe..
