Internet shops for leathers

Hi there, I'm looking for some half decent leathers on the internet, does anyone know of any websites which do fairly decent prices on them?

Much as cheap leathers are tempting, buying them form a shop where you can try them on and deem faults while you're there has always been the better option in my experience, having bought both online and instore.

Thanks, are there any fairly reliable leather makes which are quite a low price, I'm only buying them for a 125 so i don't want to go full whack on a 500 suit.

Why not?

60mph is the same regardless of any bike you come off...

There are other makes, I think Weiss or something are quite cheap and good. My friend bought a jacket and trousers from them. Looks good.

What you /could/ do is try things on and if you can find them cheaper online (as long as i's the same make/size/whatever) then go for it.

125 can still hit 60mph, you can't replace skin. I'm saying this from experience, spend every penny you can afford on leathers, then make the effort to wear them(wished I did). Last thing you want is to leave your leathers at home on a warm day only to slide down the road at 60 wishing you had used them. They are bought for a reason.

I got my latest from J&S when they were at the NEC, tried and fitted at time to make sure they were. Was a month later when I left them at home and hit a car, leaving a 3 inch gash in my knee.

Dont wanna scare you or put you off cos that's not nice....

Nah I understand the importance of them, that's the reason i'm going for leathers rather than a textile jacket and just jeans.

I've been looking at RST leathers on sportsbikeshop.co.uk and they look pretty good, it's gunna come to £280 ish for a jacket and trousers, which isn't too bad to be honest.

Before you buy from this group of companies...read my problem with the firm Moovover...search for further ...Although Moovover is now defunct they are linked together with GP leathers and Bikechatter.
