Are they trying to put people off riding bikes?

Its a little pathetic, they knew a new test was coming in yet haven't even bothered building the facilities?!

Glad I don't have to go through it, sounds like a nightmare for the bike instructors also Confused

The government have moved to a business model called 'Just in time' processing as management accountants call it, it works for big businesses that can run things efficiently, it effectively means when you want a parts or raw materials or any sort of input you call the supplier who you have made arrangements with prior to this.

This minimises overheads by not needing as big storage facilities to overstock incase deliveries come late and also keeps money in your bank account longer with night lending rates giving you 5% / 365.25 a day on your money it can add up.

, I was expert at this for a whole salers , a huge freezer, and two chillers, zero space to have any spare capacity, lorry would come 8am with tons of frozen chips it'd immediately go onboard all the delivery vans half an hour later same with the meat.

I think if I had 50K of capital I could have run that company from a car park as the freezers were always empty and things got loaded into the vans immediately.

Government being government can't run this to save their lives, its why soldiers went out to Iraq with flak jackets minus the armour plates, and with 7 bullets for an entire tour of duty.

Did anyone listen to the hag from the DSA?

Presenter: "You're not going to meet the original promise of a test centre within 40mins are you?"

DSA hag: "We are going to meet this with most people being within 20 mins.."

Errr, nope because the whole report was how some will have to travel 200miles to a test centre. FFS, how come the BBC woman didn't pull her up on this. The promise wasn't 'most' it was everyone.

Confused

What an absolute freckin joke. Less than 4 months 'till the new tests come in, and the woman from the DSA is appealing live on TV for anyone to come forward and help support thier planning applications for test centres! Talk about desperate.

Thats over 20mins drive if the traffics good, even that drive will nacker me. My current test center is 5min drive. My instructor is thinking of stoping worcester training all together and back to gloucester.

ONCE again this goverment have buggered up. The best bit was when the lady from the DSA practically asked for help on live TV. I wonder if theres a petition on the goverments site.

After watching that, I think there is some useless call centre in Nottingham that could quite happily be tarmacced over for a new test centre!
