 |
|
Several of the 'armoured' sections in the textile jackets or trousers are just a piece of 5mm foam that not only offers little protection but gets folded up and causes discomfort when riding.
I've looked at trying to remove the hard armour from the leather suit but they are fitted under the lining with no way of removing it.
Can anyone recommend any armour inserts for textiles?
Is changing to armour advantageous or leave as is, ie padding? ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

Infinity are still selling some Knox armour quite cheap, they don't have all the range though and you can check the sizes out here: Advance-X ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen... |

+1 for Forcefield. One of the best types of armour available at the moment IMO.
You don't want solid armour, it'll just transmit the force though it. ____________________ My Flickr |
