It's all too easy to knock retailers like HG but I want to put in a good word for the Bristol store. I bought an Arai lid from them 2 months ago but recently one of the pods broke. I went back to the store and they said that the distributor didn't supply pods under warranty as they were normally broken by people incorrectly fitting visors. Obviously I said that I wasn't happy and after a few minutes of chat with the store boss he said that he would try and ring them as the pod was not broken in the "normal" way.

He couldn't get through whilst I was there but said he would try again later and ring me with their answer. The cynic in me thought it would be a case of not really bothering to call them and just ring me back and say sorry but that will be £27.50. Well blow me down with a feather an hour later he rang and said that a new pod was being shipped immediately and that they would call me as soon as it was in. They also asked that as the break was out of the ordinary would I bring the helmet in for them to fit it and allow them to check for any distortion etc.

Well today I took it in for the pod to be fitted and I finally have my proper lid back in action rather than my old G-MAC which presses the visor against my nose over 60mph, so nice one Wayne and thanks for the work you put into getting this sorted Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Good to hear, I rate HG in Cheltenham the manager/franchisee is a guy called Matt, and I believe the staff are all self-employed so you can understand why they're eager to keep you happy and coming back for more.

The Southampton lot are good as well, the manager is a bit 'in your face' but he's knowledgeable and they're never too busy to help you.

Cheers

They get to a ravine, the bridge is down and a caption pops up that says, 'What are you thinking?'. I don't know about you but I was thinking, 'Christ, I'm glad I'm not in the f***ing army'.
