I've started to get quite bad pins and needles in my hands after about 25 miles. Annoying because I do about 70 miles a day, the bars aren't that low on the ZR-7, is it worth looking into risers or Renthals or are they just a bit of tart?

The benefit of rental bars you say? You dont have to pay for them all at once Razz

Seriously though renthals are comfortable and solid, good for filtering and let you chuck it in nicely

The Renthals are better for throwing it about.

If you are puting them on make sure you get renthal grips too. Thumbs Up

I got med compound grips.

Maybe soft compound would be better for you. Thumbs Up

Hi

Cheaper firist to check everything is secure (including engine mounting bolts) and try moving the bars a bit forward or backward (not much) and see if the pins and needles disappear. Say this as I suspect the reason for them is vibration.

All the best

Keith

I've heard that bar ends make quite a bit of difference. If you havent got any, get some. If you have, then tighten up. If its neither of these then I'll shut up Smile

Cheers guys. Just finishing up some other stuff and I'll adjust the bars and see if it makes any difference next week.
