It's very early to bring this up, but this year we were too slow, so I thought I post a thread up now. Something to do really as I'm missing the toga party
Glastonbury is at the end of June, and imho is the best music festival in this country. The line up will not be released/confirmed until after the tickets go on sale, so you kind of have to hope they'll be good bands playing, but then this is Glastonbury- there's always good bands at Glastonbury
This year afaik the tickets sold out the day they went on sale, so if anyone is interested in going to the 04 one, they need to plan in advance so they have money ready for the day(costs just over £100).
So if anyone does want to go, wack a post on this thread ____________________ Gallery |

Just a reminder...
Tickets go on sale on the 1st of April at 8pm in the evening. They are limiting it to 2 per person, and you cannot resell them. They are "personalising" the tickets, dunno what they are going to do, but they are also monitoring places like eBay so you won't be able to sell them on at a profit.
I would expect them to sell out within the evening, so have the money that night in your bank account, and be prepared for an evening of pressing re-dial.
Also, they are npt taking payment from a credit card at all. So make sure yu save £100 from this months pay. |

How are they going to tell the ticket is yours?
If I have a ticket that says 'John Brick' on it, how are they going to tell that I'm not John Brick? Suppose they could ask for identification, but many people are bound to forget to bring any.
Anyway, I'll be there rain or shine, assuming I don't fritter too much money away before then. ____________________ Gallery |

I dunno. Wait till 1st of April and find out.
Probably ask you to bring something stupid, like driving license or something else good to drop while you're drunk . |

Yeah, but I was thinking buying tickets to sell. I don't see any way they could stop you buying a load of tickets in false names and selling them on.
There's no way I'm taking my driving licence or simerlar to Glasto, 50% of the stuff I take will get left behind/lost. ____________________ Gallery |

Nah, I realised I didn't even take it with me.
A strangely sensible thing to do. ____________________ Gallery |
