When you plan on racing her mate?

I would love to do it. Does it have to be taxed + MOT to go on a track or?

What do you need? just a license?

I wouldn't worry about lockwiring it until just before your first meeting.

I'd get the forks rebuilt(at least) and resprung if you can afford it.

Rear sets?

There used to be a guy at PB that owned a pretty tuned KR1-S so he may be worth emailing for some tips.

Looks good though.

aye thats what il be doing anyway big Ham.

Im lockwiring everything After the trackday.
And the forks will be getting either hyperpro progressive fork springs or rebuilt as you mentioned.

The rear shock will be changed for a Hagon race shock.

Just the lack of a fairing at the moment is annoying, but its coming along nicely Smile

Thanks lads.

Because we put the discs on then when i had the money i got my carbon loraine's so, hopefully ultimate stopping power.

Anyone got any good suggestions about a better front brake lever and master cylinder?

To get more feel and power.

so matty when did you take your race licence?
me and a friend have been contemplating it. as he is still on a restricted licence and will probably be by the time we get round to it.
how does the kr1-s keep up on the track as that is what was going to use for a track bike.
my mate would be using his zxr400
good to hear your racing on a track at a young age Very Happy

well matty21 hope to take it on a track day this year going to put a aprilla sapc box on her as this opens the power-valves differently and it gives a bit more power in the midrange and my mate at work made the ally end cans which give better midrange without getting rid of the top end
