Just had my bike MOT`d and bar a rear brake light switch it passed no problems, just had a new BT090 fitted to the front but I got an advisory notice that the rear tyre was close to the legal limit, I am obviously going to change it over the next few weeks once I get paid again, but when should you change ? 1.5mm 2mm ? is it unwise to ride my bike( in the dry ) with the current rear tyre being close to the limit ?

You should only ever see the chord of a tyre on the remains of the side walls, after doing a burnout until it pops. Cool

The legal limit is 1mm across 3/4 of the tread, my Suzuki manual advises changing the front at 1.6mm and the rear at 2mm. Thumbs Up
