Just as above really. Few small shit wheelies to document my progress as I learn (on my main transport Laughing Shocked )

I know I know....body positioning isnt right, wheelies arent high enough, etc...I have done better ones....but I suppose I will have to wait til theyre recorded!

Anyways, enjoy, hate, whatever ya want me lovelies

Pathetic attempt at a standup....they scare the living shit out of me the first few times, then I started to enjoy them more and relax a bit...by this point the bike was overheating and the old clutch and head bearings werent feeling so clever, so called it a night.

Next time though... Twisted Evil

Just to show you, my back wheel hovers occasionally. I was sat still at this point, no lie.

Dont look at the shiney untouched slider....that will be solved at rockingham I hope... Mr. Green

And a little video, short and low-ish wheelie, but the bike sounds sweet as fook Cool Thumbs Up

Short, low wheeleh

And a puff of smoke/dust as the front lands, only small vid like

Small puff Razz

Meh, tips etc are more than welcome ta Karma

Aye, dont worry we'll meet soon steve, whos this person with riding ability youre gonna introduce my bike to? Laughing

Cheers lads, and ghost, stuff 2nd gear, 1st is where its at. Razz I havent really got the hang of hoiking it in 2nd tbh, 1st gear or power ftw.

I need to a) get longer wheelies sorted out, ie start learning to take it past the balance point and hit 2nd
b) once longetivety is achieved, stand ups nailed
c)once stand ups are nailed, start slowing them down again

Thumbs Up

I think this bike is gonna call social services on me.

well your bike is a bit more powerful than mine, so i dont wanna say just go for it, but it really isnt as bad as people make out. You can pull loads of little ones just to get used to it, the front will lift proper nicely when you start to do it proppers. Tried power wheelying? My mate on a bandit 650 taught me that the other day, because Id been on 33bhp for 6 months, I never ended up trying, and hence didnt think my bike was capable. KInda stupid now I think about it.

What makes me more confident clutching it is where Im sat on the bike Thumbs Up Im only 9 3/4 stone, so it doestn affect me hugely, but I always sit back til my arse touches the pillion seat, cover the rear and hoik.

Though my mate with the 650 bandit said he was scared of my wheelie methods Sad Cos I literally give it a fistful of clutch and then just hang on to the bar Laughing He says he cant be confident without covering the clutch

*shrugs* I probs should, but Im quite retarded, If Im honest.

I have the same problem, But rather than trying to do super fast wheelies, Ive started to try slowing them down more.

Although theres probably more chance of coming off at slow speed while wheelieng, Your going to do waaay less damage to the bike.

Cheers jake. Im feeling much more relaxed about bringing it up to the balance point (did a couple on way home from work) its just I have NOwhere proper decent to practice. The strip those photos are from are a little busy and not long enough tbh.

Wish I had somewhere better to practice.

Hmm, Im also trying stand ups from standing up, not getting up whilst mid wheelie, I find that way more pant filling.
