PostPosted: 13:15 - 21 Jun 2008    Post subject: FFS whats with these fucking Hondas Reply with quote

Posting this cause i'm laid up at the moment and fuck-all to do

So there I was last Sunday (had just treated the RVF to a full service and a new set of BT90’s), fucking nailing it down through the village, past the church, popped the front at about 120 when the fucking RVF decides to shit its guts down the road at 14 k rpm.

Lightening fast I whip the clutch and land her but too late the fucking chain had snapped and locked the back wheel ( fucking hate when that happens) .

Anyway kept her upright but with a sharp right coming up by the local pub decided the best thing to do was to go for damage control and throw her down the tarmac at about 80mph (normally I’d take it knee-down, scrapping the pegs.) Bike slams into the pub but luckily (or more likely due to my natural born talent) I missed it by a couple of inches and slid into the pub car-park where I had a good 30 ft run-off through the gravel before I hit a stone wall

Was banged up pretty bad but picked myself up, was ok apart from breaking a couple of ribs, fingers, sprained wrist and my head was spinning, (turns out later, l had ‘traumatic brain injury” ) but couldn’t feel a thing as I was buzzin on adrenalin.

Checked the bike, FFS, apart from the engine blow-out its obvious it’s a grade fuckin A write-off as it’s a mangled mess pissing fluids all over the place.
Lucky it didn’t hit the old geezers having a pint few feet away as the old cunts would have been brown bread or tried to hit me with a claim, (and i don't have fuck all insurance).

Called a mate, fucked the bike in the back of the van down to the local A&E to get patched up and an overnight stay.
Fucking well pissed off , I am, I’m down to just one bike now as I totaled the Blade 6 months back, as well as another another Arai RX7 fucked (that’s the 3th one in the last year).
Begining to wonder about the reliability of these hondas Confused Was thinking about getting a ZX10 next, heard they’re pretty bullet proof.

End of the day, I suppose it just reinforces the fact of what a fucking talented operator I am as I’m sure it would have been a lot worse for a lesser rider Neutral

Why nail it through a small village and then pop a wheelie? Where there little kids around for you to impress?

Shut up... You still crashed it through your own 'Natural Born' error.

...id`ve actually had a sly chuckle to myself if the ending of your post said " the doc says i`ll never walk again".
With a bit of luck the zx10 will finnish you off so we`ll have 1 less maniac to worry about.
(you shouldn`t be on the roads...end of story).

Laughing

I like it.

Timmeh, I thought you were going to post that thread asking why people always try and cover up their mistakes ie: laying the bike down.

Which I assume is what this thread was posted in relation to.

That's harsh. Build quality isn't what it used to be.

I think you should get an R1 when you're out of hospital. I hear 1998 was a good year...

Man you missed a trick there. If the chain gets stuck in the rear wheel you want to snap the front brake on and pull a sweet rolling stoppie round the corner. It's easy once you've mastered it.

There is that, although I was thinking from an outsider's point of view, to have an argument on that thread and then Ace making a piss-take one where he comes off his bike outside a pub and crashes into it.

I know there's no malice intended, but it could be taken the wrong way.

No but you need to stop doling out your "advice" to people plenty older than you.

Its shit, the people you try and "educate" with your views have faaaar more life experience than you, shit you and B_A_B took it seriously, and you are two of the worst ones for being safety nazi's on here at the mo.

He can get away with it a bit more though being 40 and having life experience.

From some one your age it sounds a little rich to be honest.

No offence to sixteen year olds but there are some that are mint and some that just need to shut up and listen rather than think they know it all.

Thank you for listening, I don't really care if you think I am wrong, this is my last post on the subject and if you reply to this post then you are a homo sexual and I win anyway cos its my game and I say so.

So yeah errm back on topic, just grow up a bit.

welcome back Ace! its been a long time. I remember that it was one of your epic tales that first attracted me to bcf.

I dont understand why you all get so uptight and why everyone has to be arsey to each other and pikc fault with everything thats said.the majority of the people causing all the trouble are keyboard warriors anyway.

and LOL once again for an entertaining post
