Viper's Birthday Outing ..Sat 13th March

On Saturday 13th March I will be staggering into Reading town centre to celebrate my 23rd Birthday. With a evening of light refreshment with musical accompaniment.

I have yet to form any major concrete plans, to where i am going etc, as it will probably depend on who wants to come, and their dress sense etc

Two things have been finalised though...
1. We will start the evening in cheap and cheerful Pavlovs
2. We will not be going to the Turtle

Initally i was wanting to go to Brannigans, but looks like I may have to consider the Walkabout, and reluctanly possibly Bar38 or Ice Bar.

Does anyone have a free weekend, and would like to tag along??

I'll be up for it, but as long as it doesn't involve fancy dress (eg. formal clothing) if you do go somewhere posh I may have to borrow (steal) someone's shoes.

Okay then people...some more definate plans...

On the consideration that we probably wont all get into Brannigans... The top two locations currently are...
1. Bar38
2. Walkabout (that people may know from previously)

Both bars have a variety of current pop/90's/80's/70's/60's music.

Bar38 is my current top choice.
As far as i know, does not have an entry fee.
Although we need to assume its a 'no trainers' type of place, and to aim to look vaguely smart-ish (ie. No sports wear)

Walkabout is more relaxed i think on dress sense, does have a minimal entry fee, but we have had a few 'issues' getting there in the past. So i suppose we need to keep our options open.

So basically no trainers, or scruffy sports wear. Jeans will be okay.
Alternatively, we could all go fancy dress, which would resolve all clothing issues! So dont complain!

Its begining to feel like a school outing.
