Hi all,


My mate is picking up a Hornet soon once he has done his DAS, it is an Eddie Jordon rep one from 1999. Anyway he lives in a flat and wants to know weather it will fit in his shed (cupboard Laughing) I would be thankful if you could measure you Hornets (1999 era model) and tell me how wide it is at the widest part when it is upright and the widest part when it is on it's sidestand.

Also if anyone would know if it would be ok to put padding on the wall and just lean the bike against it, as it is a really tight space. I'll get the measurements of my mates whole.

a 2002 Model:
Overall height: 1,070 mm (42.1 inches)
Overall length: 2,055 mm (80.9 inches)
Overall width: 745 mm (29.3 inches)
Ground clearance: 135 mm (5.3 inches)

Cant see it being massively different


To get mine into the shed the only things that dont fit are the mirrors, so I have to lean it one way and then the other to get the mirrors in, but it is easy enough


Only prob with leaning it against a wall would be if it moved and fell over, as well as scuffing on the bit where it was leaning

Yeah it will be fine, I lean mine against the wall, or the rickety flat pack shelves in my garage when I need to use the paddock stand, it'll be fine, there is a certain knack to doing it if the ground it's quite level though. Thumbs Up

Just put a bit of gaffa tape over the bar end so it doesn't get scratched to fook.
