I've just bought a Givi rack and plate for the D6 and need to collect it. My question is do I need to collect in a car or could I:

A - fit it on collection?
B - take it apart and put it in a rucksack?

Advice appreciated

if its going to be fitted to the bike anyway, just fit it there!
bring tools. email the guy and ask what you need, or is it wing nuts or something?

it will cost marginally more if you get it in a car.

also, if its fitted there, youll know if theres any bits missing.

Strap it to the seat if necessary.
But better to fit there, should not be a long job.

When I bought a top box + rack off 1samarg, he insisted that he would help me put it on. Got there after a 130 mile ride in the pissing rain and we got it on in about 20 minutes Thumbs Up

Best way really. Just don't filter agressivly on the way home, like I did, you'll scratch someones motor.

When I bought my topbox and rack I just strapped the two boxes to the street with loads of bungee cords.

Looked rediculous but didn't fall off. Thumbs Up
