Im after some for when i go to the ring on Saturday, but i dont think im clued up enough.
I rang up RAC to see if i could find out some info, basically if you crash they will only take you to the garage, which is great apart from Aprilia have a 6 week parts waiting list and if i do anything major they wont bring me home because im not Fully comp. (they hand it over to insurance partly)

What im after i guess is a recovery service, they will at least take me to Calias if i bin it bad.

Phone your insurance company to see what they can offer you, i know with Carol Nash they will return you and the bike but only if the cost in doing so is not more than the market value of the bike.

I think, the AA do what you want, although its expensive, you mite be better either not thinking about it untill it happens or maybe ask a mate to be on standby with a van hire places phone number in the uk.

A lot of breakdown recovery won't cover you for a accident, as that falls under the ins cover to recover the bike.

A friend had AA cover, he ran over a exhaust that was laid in the road on a left hand turn off, no where to avoid it due to high kerbs on both sides and a artic up his backside. Holed the sump. AA called and they refused to take him anywhere saying it was a accident.

A lot of Ringers have ADAC cover as they are the most likely to fetch you off/from the track if you bin it, as well as if you break down somewhere.

I had cover from these people when I went there earlier this year: https://www.vehicle-rescue.com Their policy seemed to be pretty comprehensive and cheaper+better than the RAC kind of stuff. I never had to use them so i don't know what their actual service is like.

If you tell the AA its a accident of course they will not pick the bike up but the guy who does come and picks you and the bike up does,nt give a toss, l,ve had 5 crash damaged bikes picked up by the AA each time l,ve told them over the phone that bike has seized and every time the guy comes out and nothing is said even though the bike is a wreck.

More often than not your insurance company will pick the bike up in the event of an accident.

I ahve european breakdown with europa assitance via H&R insurance, £50 a year and they have picked me up twice after accidents.
