Hey, getting a 50cc bike when im sixteen next month and me and a few of my mates were wanting to go on some treks to places like Brid etc but having only scooters we cant get on the motorways.

Now i personally havn't really been out of barnsley in the car or anything but i presume with the amount of bikes i see theres so pre planned routes etc or maps for people wanting to avoid the motorways?

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Danny

Can't you just use google maps and tick the 'Avoid Motorways' option?

AA route planner, easily the best on the net, gives you options to avoid motorways, toll roads and ferries.

Google maps is a bit dodgy. Even if you tell i to avoid motorways it still wants to take you over the Mancunian Way which is a motorway. It means you have to drag the route away from it.

Damn you mean computers aren't omnipotent and infallible Laughing

Still think googlemaps is the best as you can easily drag it around areas you really want to see.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

Ok at 16 on a provisional You MAY NOT carry pillion passengers or use motorways.

So having a rider to pillion intercom is a bit stupid. Is this a wind up or are you a bit of a numpty?

If you're serious then you need bike to bike intercoms like these on eBay, although there are better setups out there.

Thumbs Up

Can't say I would recommend bike to bike systems, unless you want to hear mates screaming if they come off Shocked
