Yamaha Aerox 100 Rear Shock Absorber Help!!

Hello i recently purchased a Yahama Aerox 100 2003 Model. The bike has been great untill this morning when i noticed that something was wrong with the rear suspension. Upon further inspection it appears that the plastic part at the bottom of the shock absorber has fallen off.

Im just wondering if i can buy the plastic part from somewhere so that i wont need to buy a complete shock absorber seeing as the rest of the suspension is fine apart from the little plastic piece. The plastic part that has come off simply makes the suspension that bit tighter. I have uploaded a picture of what the missing piece looks like.

Are you sure it makes it a bit tighter? Just looks like a dustcover/somewhere to put the logo to me.

Yeah im positive it makes it tighter. Now that its not there the metal coil can slide up and down the bar a bit. It basically stopped the coil from moving keeping it tight.

Just seems very unlikely if it has just fallen off.
