Hi.

I'v recently passed my cbt, and got myself a speedfight2 (100cc) 03 plate. anyway my problem is my speedo stopped working yesterday and with me being new to all this,I ain't got a clue whats wrong with it. Could somebody give me any pointers to what it could be.

Also why I'm here, could somebody direct me to a manual that I can download, I'd like to learn my scooter inside out.

Thanks in advance.

ive not seen a regular manual for the bike,

as for speedo, check that the cable is still conected to the speedo and still spins when you turn the wheel

As has been said, check the speedo cable. If it's the speedo drive I don't think you'll want to replace it because they're something like £65.

What'd be the best thing to do then?

dont really want to be using it without the speedo.

Replace the cable and see if it fixes the probem. If it doesn't chances are it's the speedo drive (Don't know how to check that is working, sorry). If it is the speedo drive it's up to you if you want to replace it costing you a fair bit of money or just live without the speedo.

You could always fit a bicycle speedo instead.
