Looks very nice! I saw the pics on facebook. Agree with craigs comments on the elbows.. just looks that you have your body position cocked up? Good photos though. Please pray that you don't get the kawasaki kurse ( I won't need to delve into that) but they normally skip over black kwaks Wink ! I think statistically speaking, black kwaks are the safest kwaks. Red ones are the most dangerous (i've crashed two!)

Have fun on it mate.

Yeah, cheers to LukeVFR for getting you a lift on a 350 mile fucking round trip... Cheers LukeVFR for the photography and cheers LukeVFR for getting you the last bit of money you needed -- thanks mate, really. Laughing

Seriously, though -- love the bike mate... Needs a few changes as mentioned (which I know you'll do), and it'll be bang on. Shame I didn't get my ride due to the fooking copper. Crying or Very sad

That was a mission and a half, but I don't regret it as it was a good price and it's a wicked bike Mr. Green

Craig, I want to de-sticker it, and get the ZX-6R logo in white. And get some black bungs to keep the black theme.

Don't see what you mean about riding position? I was trying to vary how I sat so it didn't become uncomfy. It didn't work though, as my back is bloody killing me now from the 163 mile trip.

I'm preying I don't have any kind of curse! I didn't have much luck with my VFR, hopefully this will be better. Will help that it'll only really come out when it's nice weather and for a little ride at weekends etc and not putting extreme mileage on it.

Going for a clean now to get rid of the many bug splats Mr. Green

That's gorgeous, I think you're right on the white zx6 sticker too. Would look tonne's better.

That can looks quite big though, maybe a slimmer oval stubby would be better suited Thumbs Up

I dunno, I love the sound this one makes, it's a nice kind of low down grunt rather than a screamer, unless that's the bike doing that, I'm not sure Laughing

Just ordered a new lid from Hein Gericke, can't actually remember what one it was now though, doh. Nice and comfy and black Mr. Green

I forgot to post this one last night. I think it's a record, 3 hours of ownership?

Said about the plate being smaller than standard, cause he is a biker so knows these things, then said my exhaust was illegal because it didn't have a BSA stamp or something? (Can anyone confirm this)

Then turned into a chat for about an hour, and I just wanted to go home as I was knackered, he was never going to do me for it looking back, but still didn't feel good at the time.

That's what I thought! And I stated that but he insisted that there had to be a BSA stamp on there. And that's the other thing, it went through an MOT with that can (I'm presuming anyway, previous owner said he had to change plate for it but didn't mention can)

And yes I know, but they only had yellow ones in the shop and I had my VFR back then so it had yellow on it anyway. I've already scrubbed one all the way down so I only have one on, and that's near the end too, so won't be long Laughing

Black does look pretty damn good, even without any stickers.

How did you find the power? I remember on my 636 doing an accidental wheelie because i wasn't used to the power. Laughing
Oh, & how are you finding the seat. Shocked

Ride safe.

No, that is MOT rules and not what is legal. It must have the original makers marks, or a BSAU193 stamp or an E mark. Although most of the time they would just give you a defect ticket to be stamped by an MOT station who would go by the MOT rules rather than what is legal.

All the best

Keith

I found it fine to control, I thought it may be hard but I got used to it very quickly. About 3 miles down the road and I was already opening her up with the biggest grin on my face Mr. Green Haven't done any accidental wheelies though, just had a twitchy front end!

I'm wary of cornering at the moment, as I haven't done the whole leaning thing for a long time and have yet to put more faith in the bike/tyres. And I don't want to be putting power down through corners yet.

Seat seems fine, didn't find it uncomfy at all!

I was hoping you'd reply. So it would pass an MOT, but it's illegal? How strange is that!
