hi,hoping someone can point me in the right direction,im fairly new to bikeing,i own a piaggio zip 50 on a 02 plate.but it trys to cut out on full throttle,some times does.runs very well until nearly full throttle.i dont know whats wrong,any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you got an aftermarket air filter or exhaust?

Sounds like one of the dodgy batch not designed for the uk market but sold here anyway and was meant to be upjetted before sale... check the main jet size.. if its a 56 then upjet it to a 60 and it will be much better.

If you need a jet several places sell them, its a PHVB dellorto carb... if not fowlers who are the main importers for piaggio sell them under the part number ZIPJET60.

hi,thanks,no its a standard exhaust and air filter,how do i find out if mine is a 56 jet?
