MOT is due on the GS125 so I'm dealing with the c+s & tyres, had the new tyres put on the wheels today and this evening have been doing the c+s.

New sprockets are on, all fine, but the chain seems massively slack- it hangs down a good 2-3" from where it ought to be - I compared it to the old chain, and it's definitely the same length (well, tad shorter due to the old one being pretty worn out) - and I adjusted the chain adjusters on the swingarm so it's on the last setting - still no joy, hanging about 2" down

So where have I gone wrong here?

Karma for speedy answers as I need to get it sorted tonight!!

Turns out I'm an idiot

In my state of confusion I must have got the old chain mixed up with the new.

New one is a 124 link chain, old one is at least two links shorter (I want to say three given the level of wear.

And noxious; sprockets are the same, aye.
