how do you tell if the rear suspension on a 1997 bandit 600 is set to standard factory settings?

my bandit used to be street fightered styled and the previous owner made the front stiffer so not sure if he changed the rear suspension. due to problems ive changed the front fork oil and put the factory amount required in it so need to see if rear is set to factory setting.

also what would a factory setting front end and a modified rear, would it cause riding problems?

factory settings tend to be quite poor on bandits as far as im aware, it would be well worth adjusting the suspension to your own weight and style of riding rather than standard.

i like a very hard setting, infact, as hard as the suspensions settings will allow it to go, it just feels like you get much better power delivery however the rear end skips around more.

Set it up as you like, im only 9 stone but like a really aggresive ride.

you turn it so that that it works it way up the steps.the higher the step, the harder the suspension

EDIT: I think thats clockwise, but not 100& sure without looking
