Would it be fair to say that Micheal Knight, from Knight Rider, solved crimes, or protected the innocent?

It can't be both.

Specifically, was the emphasis on solving crime OR protecting the innocent.

Didn't he just drive a cool black car. And as Kris has pointed out, shagged the victoms along the way? Laughing

He 'fought criminals who operated above the law'.

Ahem, Knight Rider fan as a kid. Embarassed Well, a talking car that jumped over stuff, at age 10, you work it out! Laughing

Watching Bravo yesterday, I noticed something a bit iffy.

KITT was suddenly a softtop! And it had a weird Taxi-style hideaway bodykit type thing happening. It was strange to say the least Confused

Either way, Michael Knight was just some crazy guy who used fighting crime and protecting the innocent as an excuse to drive at stupid speeds and jump over canyons/rivers/buildings.

A-Team ruled all though!

"I ain't goin' on no plane foo'!"
"Drink this, Mr. T"
"Ooooh milk...!"

The classics never die Smile

Right, what happened was, his got ripped to pieces when his molecule structure ionic bonding was removed from kitt, via a laser or something like that!

He then got smashed to bits and covered in acid I believe. Then Bonny and Tj rebuilt KITT and done some modifications, one of which was the soft-top conversion (via the red button) and the other the "Hot-Pursuit" mode.

Hope that helps (Have 5 KR dvds)

Well, here I am, a 17 year old agreeing with most of you, wow, I must be strange liking oldies programmes like these!!

I love the a-team (not literally mind you) and knight rider, a talking car, I still love it. The "super pursuit mode" was a bit over the top for my liking, so were the air brakes, but you know, still fun to watch

McGuyver was a genius Very Happy

No other man on Earth could be locked in a warehouse with some boxes, steel barrels and a pencil, then bust out with a freshly made tank.

I think his own brand of Swiss army knives is part of the reason though Shocked

But Mr T would have had the rest of the A Team to help him out.

McGuyver did everything on his own.

The rest of the team were only there to make sure he got onto the plane. He always did all the proper work.

And they only did that by force feeding him drugs.

I'm sure most people remember the old 80's campaign, led by a certain US president...

I simply cannot agree with you!

Streethawk was amazing... to a little sprog. Watching it now it doesn't seem *quite so appealing.
