I bought a ZX6R but may change it for something more suitable for town work.

In terms of handling would I loose out much riding something like a Hornet6 or an SV650 on country roads? I would also prefer something which isnt as nice, so whats good for around £1500 for messing about on, pretty quick and alround useable?

Hi

Would suggest that although the handling might well be worse on country roads, ultimatly it is unlikely to make you any slower as there are too many other things to stop you going quickly on the road (eg, sight lines).

All the best

Keith

Agree, should ahve been more specific. Due to my light weight (60kg) bikes have a tendency to get flighty when I am being silly. This gets amplified on naked bikes it seems. possibly due to position, my grip, suspension, chassis or probably all.

Hi

In which case something with softer suspension that can work with you on it might be an advantage.

All the best

Keith
